Who are we?
The Power Washers are a mission-based pressure-washing business with a global view. I’m Drew Pelletier (a.k.a. Captain Clean), a former Baptist pastor of a small church in Gastonia, NC. When I realized the Lord was calling me to plant churches and help others plant churches, a major component of that was the method by which the church ministries would be started. This is the beginning of a ministry/business hybrid called “Tentmaking.” The plan is this:
- Stage 1: Self-sustaining service business (Will need to be around $150k in annual recurring revenue)
- Stage 2: Replicable model (Licensing/franchising model)
- Stage 3: Establish base of operations in target city (Detroit, MI is the first target)
- Stage 4: Provide ministry members with reliable income (Create jobs for those wanting to join in the initial church plant)

Cash is the lifeblood of any business. However, impact is the goal. Money follows impact.
Pricing is set to be fair and the closest win-win number possible.
Costs people don’t think about for us: Labor, Insurance, Chemicals, Fuel, Software, Marketing, Equipment – Business is expensive! We set our pricing to be as affordable as possible without starving the business of its necessities.

Constantly learn to be better. In learning, do better.
Practically, we are constantly studying and learning how to wash homes and properties better.
Residential Cleaning
We love making home owners happy. A house wash or a driveway cleaning goes miles toward peace of mind and pride in ownership! Instead of spending a weekend learning how to pressure wash your stuff and possibly damaging your home, call a hero to clean your home so you can spend the weekend making memories.
Commercial Cleaning
In business, presentation is everything. If you make a bad first impression, you have lost a potential client. We clean everything from rentals, fleets, brick-and-mortar retail stores, and a little bit of everything in between. Make money by saving time and calling a hero to clean your commercial property.
Everything Else
We have a running joke at The Power Washers: “If it’s outside, we’ll clean everything short of your pets or great Aunt Myrtle.” In other words, if you don’t see it listed directly, ask us if we can clean it. If not, we will be quick to point you in the right direction. Our goal is to clean the Upstate of South Carolina, so we’ll do everything in our power to accomplish that.
We have fun, but we take cleaning seriously
Your home is precious to you. We treat it as such. If it’s your business or some other property you own, it is significant. We use safe techniques to protect your home from filth as well as damage that would come from carelessness.
